Nach dem Abgang von Dr. Nick Savage als Master Distiller zur Lowland-Destillerie Bladnoch hat The Macallan einige Zeit nach einem neuen Master Whisky Maker gesucht – und sich nun für eine Frau entschieden, die nicht nur im Whisky-Business bereits große Erfahrung hat, sondern auch im Edrington-Konzern arbeitete. Wie die Destillerie auf ihrer Webseite bekanntgab, wird Kirsteen Campbell diese Position übernehmen.
Kirsteen war Master Blender bei The Famous Grouse (zuvor bei Cutty Sark), der Blend-Marke der Glenturret Distillery, die von Edrington an die Schweizer Art & Terroir verkaufte. Jetzt steht sie gemeinsam mit dem Master of Wood, Stuart MacPherson, dem sechsköpfigen Whisky Mastery Team bei Macallan vor:

- Sarah Burgess, Lead Whisky Maker
- Polly Logan, Whisky Maker
- Steven Bremner, Whisky Maker
