Vorgestern hat die Destillerie Tomatin auf ihrer Website den neuen Tomatin Cù Bòcan 2006 vorgestellt. Die limitierte Ausgabe (12.000 Flaschen immerhin) des rauchigen Tomatin stammt aus einer Kombination von Sherry und Bourbon Casks und ist leicht getorft. Abgefüllt wurde der neue Tomatin mit 50%.
Als Clou hat die Destillerie in die Verpackung ein Glas gepackt, das zwar an einen Tumbler erinnert, aber trotzdem nach oben hin die Aromen durch die Verengung fokussiert.
In Österreich ist der limitierte Tomatin Cù Bòcan 2006 bereits erhältlich (zu einem Preis von € 55,-), die Verfügbarkeit in Deutschland können wir momentan nicht überprüfen.
