Die Highland Whisky Destillerie Tomatin hat heute in ihrer englischsprachigen Presseaussendung die Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Tomatin 30 yo angekündigt.
Dieser neue Tomatin erhielt ein Finish in First Fill Ex-Bourbon Barrels. Insgesamt werden 3.000 Flaschen verfügbar sein (auf der rechten Seite der offen Holzkiste wird die Auflage genannt). Für den Markt in Großbritannien sind 900 Flaschen vorgesehen, über die weitere Verteilung enthält die Presseaussendung keine Angaben.
Der Tomatin 30 yo wird in einer Premium-Eichenbox präsentiert. Abgefüllt ist dieser Whisky mit 46 % Vol. und ist ungefärbt sowie auch ohne Kältefilterung. Die offiziellen Tasting Notes versprechen Aromen von Beeren, goldenem Honig und weißer Schokolade.
Der neue Tomatin 30 yo ersetzt den 1988 Vintage in der Core Range und ist im Fachhandel zu einem Preis von 300 £ erhältlich. Dieser Richtpreis gilt wohl für Großbritannien, ob und zu welchem Preis der Tomatin 30 yo bei uns erhältlich sein wird, dazu gibt es keine Angaben.

TOMATIN BOLSTER LINE UP WITH NEW 30 YEAR OLD WHISKY
Highland whisky distillery Tomatin, has today (Thursday 27th September) announced the release of its new 30 Year Old single malt.
Retailing at £300, the golden-amber expression is a premium batch release decanted into individually numbered bottles, with only 900 available in the UK.
The whisky, finished in first fill ex-Bourbon barrels, is presented in a premium oak box and is accompanied by a carrying case – perfect for those looking to add a touch of extravagance to their whisky collection.
The 30 Year Old is expected to prove popular with new and loyal Tomatin drinkers and will be available through specialist retailers.

Tomatin’s 30 Year Old, delivers fresh aromas of soft fruits, golden honey and smooth white chocolate. On the palate, a fusion of tropical fruits and creamy buttered vanilla mingle in an explosion of sensational mixed spices. Customers can expect an elegantly rich and creamy finish.
