Als Neu-Interpretation der ursprünglichen LV-1767 Edition aus dem Jahr 2018 kündigt The London Distillery Company (TLDC) ihren neuen Roggenwhisky Yesteryear an. TLDC Yesteryear (52,3 % Vol.) ist ein sechs Jahre alter Single London Rye Whisky, der zunächst in englischen Eichenfässern reifte und anschließend in first-fill Oloroso Sherry octaves und einem refill Sherry quarter cask veredelt wurde.
TLDC Yesteryear soll in der Nase Aromen von Bitterorangen, kandierten roten Beeren, Nelken, Zimt, vollem Toffee und edler Schokolade bieten. Am Gaumen sollen sich Noten von Orangenmarmelade, buttrigem Toffee, gerösteten Mandeln, Kakaonibs und klassischen Roggengewürzen zeigen.
Matt McKay, TLDC Managing Director und Whisky Maker, kommentierte die Markteinführung so:
