13 Jahre lang hat Miles Munroe bei Westward Whiskey als Master Blender gearbeitet und dort mitgeholfen, eine für die USA unübliche Kategorie, den Single Malt, als Gattung zu etablieren. Nun, etwas über ein Jahr nach der freiwilligen Insolvenz des Unternehmens und den Verkauf an private Investoren, wird er das Unternehmen verlassen und seine eigene Firma, Grimoire Spirits, gründen.

Mit Grimoire Spirits wird Munroe weiter Whisky-Blends und Kleinserien produzieren. Er meint dazu:
“Years of restyling how flavours come together, with a reverence for balance and depth, have led me to conjure up this new venture. This gives me the chance to blend with complete freedom and to explore an unlimited world of cask combinations uncovered from some of my favourite places.”
Das Ganze wird auch in einem exklusiven Grimoire-Club münden, in dem Whisky-Enthusiasten Blendings in allen Facetten und aller Tiefe erkunden können.
