“As an industry, we are navigating a cyclical slowdown, and our responsibility is to make thoughtful decisions that protect the long-term health of our company, our customers, and our employees. We were among the last contract manufacturers to make workforce adjustments, and we fully expect to be among the first to bring employees back as demand returns.“
David Mandell, CEO Whiskey House
Punkte
Tsingtao ‘Year of the Loong’ (40%, OB, China, single malt, bourbon & Mongolian oak, 2024)
80
Sadhana 2006/2019 (43%, OB, Tibet, single malt)
80
Vê Dê Di ‘Distiller’s Choice’ (43%, OB, Viet Nam, single malt, sherry, bourbon & new American oak)
83
The Chuan ‘Small Batch NO. D15’ (46.8%, OB, Pure Malt, China, finished in PX, 2025)
Er heißt „His Own Way: The Story of Eddie Russell“ und wird am 23.

RUSSELL’S RESERVE® HONORS EDDIE RUSSELL’S 45-YEAR LEGACY WITH A CINEMATIC TRIBUTE AND THE SPRING 2026 RETURN OF THE 13 YEAR OLD
Marking the occasion, Russell’s Reserve introduces „His Own Way: The Story of Eddie Russell“, an original short-form documentary honoring Eddie Russell’s 45-year legacy paired with a commemorative label for the 13 Year Old Spring 2026 Limited Release.
LAWRENCEBURG, Ky., June 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Russell’s Reserve, the award-winning bourbon producer, raises a glass to Master Distiller Eddie Russell, who celebrates his 45th anniversary with Wild Turkey Distilling Co. this year. Eddie’s journey began in 1981 with what was meant to be a summer job at the distillery—one that quickly became a lifelong calling. More than four decades later, his work continues as a Hall of Fame Master Distiller and an enduring force in shaping modern bourbon. To mark the milestone, Russell’s Reserve is honoring Eddie with a multi-part tribute, including the Spring 2026 release of Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Old Bourbon alongside an original documentary about Eddie himself.
Over the course of his career, Eddie has mastered nearly every aspect of bourbon-making, taking on roles across the distillery and absorbing the traditions, techniques, and uncompromising standards that define Wild Turkey. That foundation led to the creation of Russell’s Reserve, first introduced by Eddie to honor his father, Jimmy Russell’s, 45th anniversary at Wild Turkey, and now serves as the inspiration for „His Own Way: The Story of Eddie Russell“, the documentary that traces Eddie’s journey from his earliest days at the distillery to his lasting influence today. Offering an intimate portrait, the film goes beyond craftsmanship to capture the values, relationships and quiet leadership that define Eddie’s legacy.
Russell’s Reserve
„Russell’s Reserve has always been deeply personal to me. It started as a way to honor my dad and everything he taught me. Now, the opportunity to celebrate my own 45 years with a new release of the 13 Year Old – a bourbon that really showcases how I approach the craft – and to see my story shared through this film, is incredibly special.“
Master Distiller Eddie Russell
The Spring 2026 release of Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Old Bourbon will feature a commemorative label, offering a nod to Eddie’s 45 years of whiskey-making mastery. Continuing the tradition of honoring the truest expression of the barrel, an approach central to Eddie’s philosophy of bourbon-making, this year’s batch showcases his unique ability to hand-select and develop deep, complex flavors through maturation. Bottled at a unique barrel proof of 60.6% (121.2 proof) and shaped by the nuances of this production season, this release delivers a rich, full-bodied profile, including special selections by Eddie, crafted to be savored, shared, and celebrated.
Russell’s Reserve
„My dad has given his entire life to this craft, and to see him reach 45 years is so special. While we were filming, Dad actually pulled an 18 year old barrel and we tasted it together – of course, it was exceptional. That barrel ended up in this year’s 13 Year Old release. It was just one of those moments that felt so true to who Dad is and what he does best. To have that captured on camera, and that barrel in this year’s release, makes it all even more meaningful.“
Associate Master Blender and son of Eddie, Bruce Russell
With signature notes of vanilla and brown sugar, the 2026 release introduces layered flavors of cherry and citrus. The result is a complex and balanced bourbon that reflects both heritage and innovation.
Proof: 121.2 proof; 60.6% ABV
Aroma: Notes of vanilla and oak transition to brown sugar and coffee with a distinct orange peel note.
Taste: Bright fruit notes of cherry and citrus followed by spice notes of nutmeg and allspice with sweet notes of cola.
Finish: Medium-long finish with caramel, toffee, and hints of oak tannin.
Beginning this month, the highly allocated Russell’s Reserve 13 Year Old will be available in limited quantities online, at the distillery Visitor’s Center and at select retailers for $200 SRP per 750 ML bottle.

Nose: Fresh citrus, baked apple and vanilla cream, balanced with ripe red berries, blackcurrant and a touch of sweet oak spice from the Australian Cabernet Sauvignon cask.
Palate: Soft and rounded with notes of orchard fruits, honeyed malt and creamy vanilla. Layers of dark cherry, cassis and gentle cinnamon develop alongside delicate oak tannins.
Finish: Long and elegant, with lingering red fruits, sweet spice and candied orange peel fading into a refined, warming finish.
Managing Director Euan Mitchell sagt über ihn:
“This Arran Single Malt is our tribute to a man whose ideas changed how we understand the world around us. The concept of ‘Deep Time’ resonates strongly with whisky making, where patience, maturation and natural processes are everything.”

BALLANTINE’S X MALBON MEET AT THE 19TH HOLE
Introducing the 21 Year Old limited edition travel retail exclusive Ballantine’s blended Scotch, part of a special Ballantine’s x Malbon collaboration inspired by golf’s cultural reinvention.
3rd June 2026: Ballantine’s celebrates Time Well Spent at the 19th Hole with a new collaboration with Malbon, a lifestyle golf brand that is at the forefront of golf’s cultural evolution. Together they have reimagined the iconic 19th Hole occasion where connection, conversation and culture come together by producing two new limited edition expressions – including a 21 Year Old travel exclusive – and a limited Ballantine’s x Malbon capsule clothing collection.
Nowhere is golf’s cultural evolution more pronounced than in South Korea, where a new generation is redefining how the game is played, experienced and expressed. Malbon has played a defining role in this shift, reshaping the codes of golf through a distinct blend of heritage and contemporary perspective.
Ballantine’s has taken a similar approach within whisky – reinterpreting its own heritage and legacy for a new generation and evolving how the category is experienced today. While time remains the defining element of its craft, from years of maturation to moments shared over a glass, the brand continues to explore new cultural spaces in which whisky can be enjoyed.
The Ballantine’s x Malbon collaboration comprises a rich and fruity 21 Year Old, produced with a higher proportion of the Glentauchers Single Malt, known for its delicacy and precision finish, just like the putter from a golfer’s club bag. This expression will be available exclusively in Korea Travel Retail from May 2026. As part of the collaboration there is also a 17 Year Old blend, that has a high proportion of Glenburgie 17 year old Single Malt to bring balance, length and depth – much like the driver – and will be available in the Korean domestic market only.
The pack design brings the sensibilities of both brands together in refined harmony. Malbon’s signature ‘Buckets’ logo takes centre stage, lending the design a playful yet witty character, while custom graphics inspired by the golf ball pattern translate the rhythm and energy of the course into a modern visual language.
The No.1 blended Scotch whisky brand in Korea Travel Retail and No. 2 Scotch whisky in the world, Ballantine’s has enjoyed a close association with golf for more than six decades, beginning in 1960 with the first Ballantine’s Tournament at the iconic Wentworth Club in the UK and going on to sponsor major professional tournaments, including the European Tour, the Ballantine’s Championship in Asia as well as the Scottish Open – releasing several exclusive golf edition whiskies along the way.
Through its campaign ‚Time Well Spent,‘ Ballantine’s has similarly long been associated with the unhurried conversations and relaxed moments that naturally unfold after a round. This collaboration is a project that channels the energy of the course and the atmosphere of the post-round moment through the distinct sensibility of both brands.
Alongside the two whiskies, Ballantine’s x Malbon introduces a limited edition capsule of apparel and accessories that bring the collaboration’s shared visual world to life, on and off the course. Designed for a new generation of golfers who treat the fairway as a space for self-expression, here performance meets personality with custom prints inspired by Scotland and reimagined with a contemporary edge, layering rhythm, movement and craft into every detail, and featuring the reworked Buckets logo – Malbon’s symbol of individuality.
Stephen Malbon, Co-Founder of Malbon, comments on the design inspiration:
“The design reflects the balance between heritage and modernity. We created Buckets as a character wearing a classic, heavily colour-blocked hat inspired by traditional fabrics. We also developed a pattern influenced by historical motifs but modernised it by incorporating Buckets elements into the design. The colour palette was inspired by Ballantine’s packaging and overall brand colour story, and it translated beautifully into our first his-and-hers collection created exclusively for Ballantine’s and available only in the Korean market.”
Andrew Bardsley, Director, Prestige Brands and Champagne at Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, said:
“Rooted in the camaraderie that unfolds on the green, Ballantine’s x Malbon is a tribute to the moments that matter most, of ‘Time Well Spent’. Blending the energy of the modern game with Ballantine’s timeless spirit of togetherness and authenticity, this collaboration fosters connection and we are excited for the potential of the 21 Year Old to introduce a new audience of younger, South Korean travellers to the pleasures of Ballantine’s Blended Scotch Whisky.”
Antonio Duva, General Manager, Asia Pacific, at Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail added:
“As the No.1 blended Scotch in Korea Travel Retail and with a strong and prestigious portfolio ranging from iconic blends to refined single malts, this TRX strengthens our point of difference versus the domestic market. The strategic collaboration with Malbon puts Ballantine’s at the heart of culture and lifestyle in South Korea, solidifying our passion for golf, rejuvenating the brand among a younger travelling consumer and elevating its premium credentials through the power of travel retail. We look forward to activating the 21 Year Old expression at airport stores over the next couple of months.”
The collaboration was unveiled at a high energy launch event in the heart of Seoul, 28th May, bringing the worlds of Ballantine’s and Malbon to life in one of the city’s most culture‑defining settings. Figures from fashion, sport and entertainment marked a standout convergence of whisky, golf and contemporary culture.
The Ballantine’s x Malbon 21 Year Old Travel Retail Exclusive Limited Edition will launch from mid-June exclusively in Korea Duty Free and include HPPs at all departures and arrivals stores at Incheon, Gimpo and Gimhae Airports, a standout pop-up store at Jeju Domestic Airport and listings at the Jeju downtown JTO duty free store.
Tasting notes for the 21 Year Old Travel Retail Exclusive Limited Edition
On the nose, notes of freshly cut orange slices, juicy red apples, sweet cranberries and homemade raspberry jam on buttered toast. Aromas of moreish crème brûlée and runny caramel with a touch of hazelnut and oak spice. On the palate expect notes of summer berries galore with fresh strawberry, stewed cherries and juicy blackcurrants. Balancing this is rich and vibrant flavour notes of oak, with spices of cinnamon and clove, and a touch of orange marmalade. The finish is rich, fruity, spiced and complex

FOUR ROSES DEBUTS ANTHOLOGY SERIES WITH OLDEST RELEASE IN BRAND HISTORY
Watch the Story of Four Roses Unfold with Each Chapter of the New Annual Series
LAWRENCEBURG, K.Y., June 2, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Today, Four Roses Distillery announces the launch of Anthology, a new ultra-premium annual series of rare and highly limited releases that each tell a distinct chapter of the brand’s 138-year story. Launching during one of the distillery’s most innovative years to date, Anthology honors Four Roses‘ rich heritage while exploring the moments, people, and craftsmanship that have shaped the brand over generations.
The series begins with Chapter One: Origin, the oldest release in Four Roses history; a rare 21-year-old bourbon inspired by the brand’s founding story of love and connection. Chapter One: Origin transports consumers back to 1888, when founder Paul Jones Jr. professed his love and intention to marry his Southern belle. She later accepted his proposal by arriving at a grand ball wearing a corsage of four red roses, inspiring Jones to name the distillery after the moment that would define the brand for generations to come.
Four Roses debuts Anthology Series with oldest release in brand history.
Meticulously aged for 21 years and designed for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a deeper connection to bourbon history, Chapter One reflects Four Roses‘ unwavering passion and dedication for craftsmanship and meaningful connection today.
„This release represents more than age; it represents legacy. With Anthology, we wanted to create a series that allows us to tell the deeper stories behind Four Roses through rare and intentional releases. Chapter One: Origin pays tribute to the moment that inspired our name and the values of connection and passion that continue to define our brand today.“
Brent Elliott, Master Distiller at Four Roses
Crafted from the OBSF recipe, known for its delicate herbal notes and rich fruit character, the 21-year-old bourbon was matured under careful stewardship, resulting in an exceptionally layered and elegant profile and bottled at up to 124.9 proof. On the nose, deep apricot is mingled with vanilla and spiced mint. The palate unfolds with creamy oak tones, deep flavors of ripe cherry, cacao and rich honey, culminating in a rich finish of antique oak and lingering rich fruit.
The launch of Anthology coincides with Meet Me with Four Roses, the brand’s campaign that places Four Roses at the heart of life’s shared moments by celebrating those rare pauses away from the noise, when people connect more deeply with those who matter most, all elevated with a glass of Four Roses Bourbon in hand. Continuing this spirit of connection, Four Roses will host an immersive pop-up experience at the brand’s original headquarters on Louisville’s historic Whiskey Row, offering guests an up-close, first-hand look at the story, craftsmanship, and legacy behind Four Roses. Through curated experiences inspired by the inaugural Anthology release, visitors will step deeper into the brand’s history while exploring the inspiration and artistry behind Chapter One: Origin.
Chapter One: Origin will be available exclusively at the Four Roses Visitor Center beginning July 10 and at the Whiskey Row event on July 11 for a suggested retail price of $500. Around 1,200 bottles will be released, underscoring the rarity and collectability of the inaugural chapter.

For me, Black Bush is a whiskey masterpiece — combining triple-distilled smoothness, nutty sweetness and a softness derived from the sherry casks to create a truly captivating palate. Nothing about the whiskey has changed, but the way it presents itself to the world has. The team at Encirc, who crafted the glass, were invaluable in translating that heritage into something stunning and premium, and I’m proud to see it presented in a way that truly reflects what’s in the bottle.”
